June 16, 2024 marked the third publicly reported million-level Mega Moolah win of the year. A Canadian customer playing at Grand Mondial Casino landed the jackpot on the original African safari-themed Mega Moolah slot.
At the time of the win, the player walked away with CA$3,637,742.
Grand Mondial Casino in Canada
Grand Mondial is a long-established online casino brand that has been serving players since 2006. Part of the Casino Rewards network, its catalogue includes slot machines, table games, video poker and live casino titles.
The casino has also been closely associated with Games Global titles and progressive jackpot games such as Mega Moolah.
Game availability can vary according to the player’s location and the version of the casino. In Canada, regulatory requirements and casino catalogues can differ between provinces.
Grand Mondial Mega Moolah Winners
Grand Mondial has a long history with Mega Moolah and has been associated with several major progressive jackpot wins.
One of the most famous occurred in September 2018, when a player won approximately €18.91 million on the original Mega Moolah slot at Grand Mondial Casino.
At the time, it was one of the largest online slot jackpots ever publicly reported.
Canadian players have also recorded several substantial wins at Grand Mondial over the years, both on Mega Moolah titles and on other jackpot games available through the Casino Rewards network.
Past wins do not indicate when or where another jackpot will be triggered. Progressive jackpot results remain random.

Mega Money Wheel
Mega Money Wheel is very different from a traditional Mega Moolah slot. Instead of reels, the game is built around a prize wheel offering a range of fixed prizes.
Its top prize is 1,000,000 in the applicable currency.
Other possible prizes include amounts calculated as a multiple of the player’s stake. One of the higher fixed prizes can pay 500x the bet.
For example, at a $20 stake, a 500x prize would equal $10,000.
A higher stake increases the amount of money at risk and the value of stake-based prizes. It should not be interpreted as guaranteeing, or necessarily making it more likely, that the top prize will be landed.
Mega Moolah Sites in Canada
Mega Moolah has historically been available through several casino brands serving Canadian players, including Grand Mondial Casino and Zodiac Casino.
Today, however, game availability depends increasingly on the player’s province and the regulated version of the casino being used.
In Ontario, for example, Games Global introduced the province-specific Maple Moolah progressive jackpot network rather than using the traditional cross-border Mega Moolah network.
Other Canadian markets can have different game catalogues.
Grand Mondial remains part of the Casino Rewards network and has a particularly long history with Games Global jackpot titles.
Another established Casino Rewards brand is Zodiac Casino. One of the most notable Mega Moolah wins associated with Zodiac occurred in January 2019, when a player won more than CA$20 million.

Mega Moolah Winners Around the World
Since its launch in 2006, Mega Moolah has produced major jackpots in several countries and currencies.
Canadian players have been involved in some of the network’s most notable wins, but large jackpots have also been reported in Europe, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and other markets.
The Mega Moolah series has included several different titles over the years. Earlier in 2024, another major jackpot was won on Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah.
Because many jackpot winners remain anonymous and public records are not always complete, it is difficult to establish a reliable ranking of winners by nationality.
The June 16, 2024 Grand Mondial win is nevertheless a useful example of Mega Moolah’s long history with Canadian players: CA$3,637,742 won on a single jackpot event, with the winner choosing to remain out of the public spotlight.
